Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below                
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel

Job Summary:

• Provide nursing care in a hospital setting for patients with varying health conditions, from simple to complex.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage care for an assigned group of patients.
• Document patient responses to treatments and note changes in physician orders.
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor procedures.
• Monitor and obtain physiological data, intervening as necessary.
• Administer medications, regulate IV infusions, and monitor blood products.
• Deliver competent patient care and interact with patients and families to share care plans and discharge procedures.
• Provide information on hospital procedures to patients and families.
• Refer patient care needs to appropriate personnel and delegate tasks to support staff.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of nursing experience.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to organize, plan, and evaluate nursing services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or higher) from a board-approved program.

Required Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
