Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel

Job Summary
Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with a range of health conditions, from simple to complex.
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned group of patients and document responses to interventions and treatments.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor patient physiological data and intervene as necessary.
- Administer medications, regulate IV infusions, and monitor blood products.
- Deliver competent patient care and communicate care plans with patients and families.
- Provide discharge instructions and hospital procedure information to patients and families.
- Refer patient care needs to appropriate personnel and delegate tasks to support staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of nursing experience.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a board-approved program.
Skills
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, and evaluate nursing services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Basic computer skills.
