Job Summary

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks per state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collect and assess health data continuously.
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy.
• Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
• Document care per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Utilize resources effectively and promote the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health.
• Float to other departments as needed (within scope and qualifications).
• May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS) as applicable to the unit or service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Additional certifications relevant to the unit or service.

Additional Information

• Pay range: $51 - $69 per hour (may vary based on benefits such as stipends, medical, dental, vision, and 401K).
