Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Collect and assess health data to evaluate patient health status.
Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy.
Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Utilize resources effectively and promote the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health.
Float to other departments as needed (within scope of competency and qualifications).
May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.
Required Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN).
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Advanced certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS) as appropriate for the unit or service.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
Additional certifications relevant to the unit or service.
Additional Information
Pay range: $52 - $70 per hour (may vary based on supplier and include benefits such as stipends, medical, dental, vision, and 401K for clinical traveler workers).
