Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care in alignment with the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Nursing. Utilizing Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, Relationship-Based Care, and NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care. The RN collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote, maintain, and restore health. Care is tailored to the physiological, developmental, and psychosocial needs of patients. The RN ensures care is consistent with the interdisciplinary plan, evaluates patient progress, and modifies care plans as needed. Responsibilities include patient advocacy, effective communication, delegation, and adherence to legal and ethical standards of practice.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of acute care experience
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing
  • Associate Degree or BSN accepted
  • Active CA RN License
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Telemetry experience
  • Previous travel nursing experience
