Job Summary:

• Provide competent and appropriate nursing care across the continuum of care for surgical patients, from Pediatric to Geriatric.
• Perform thorough assessments, including pre-operative and post-operative evaluations, and document patient progress accurately.
• Demonstrate clinical skills in direct patient care, emergency procedures, and use of surgical equipment.
• Ensure patient satisfaction by maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and effective communication with patients, families, and co-workers.
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including Universal Protocol and proper patient identification.
• Support Pre Admission Testing (PAT) by evaluating orders and ensuring timely completion of patient testing.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
