Job Summary:
- Perform radiographic examinations following established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and well-being during procedures.
- Evaluate image quality to meet required standards.
- Organize images, complete paperwork, and manage requisition data.
- Assist and instruct patients before and during examinations.
- Inspect and clean equipment prior to use; report malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Address patient complaints, discrepancies, and drug reactions per QA policies.
- Support other departmental tasks during downtime, including front desk duties and rooming patients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved radiology course.
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and ARRT certification.
- Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS certification.
- Basic clerical and computer skills.
- Ability to assist in moving patients and perform physical tasks as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience in general radiology (new graduates eligible).
