Job Summary:
- Oversee and manage regulatory-based policies and procedures research projects, with a focus on healthcare industry initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Privacy Officer and Special Assistant to the President to ensure deliverables meet scope and schedule requirements.
- Support and lead efforts to maintain a positive patient experience for COVID-19 testing in New York City.
- Provide logistical support for launching and expanding testing initiatives, including staffing, supply chain, and site operations.
- Independently manage project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop and execute administrative and operational processes, including process improvements.
- Coordinate with NYC Health + Hospital departments to resolve issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide timely reporting on inventory, staffing, and other operational metrics.
- Oversee the launch and operation of testing sites, including staffing, supply needs, and community partnerships.
- Support leadership by escalating high-priority issues and risks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree may substitute for one year of experience.
- 5 years of experience in capital program management.
- 2 years of administrative and management experience.
- Relevant project management experience, including managing projects from conceptualization to scale.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor technical material to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently with broadly defined objectives.
- High level of accuracy, transparency, and accountability in work products.
- Experience in documentation management, policy development, and quality indicator interpretation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous staff management experience.
- Experience with NYC government, public health entities, hospitals, or community-based organizations.
- NYC residency preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
- Experience with NPBC/CoC or oncology standards and accreditation components.
- Ability to prepare for surveys and manage corrective action plans.
- Strategic planning and program development experience, particularly in breast care pathways.
Additional Information:
- Pay range: $40.75/hr - $65.16/hr.
- Position involves supporting T2 Test and Trace initiatives and other related duties as assigned.
