Job Summary

  • Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
  • Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
  • Communicate pertinent patient/family information effectively to the healthcare team.
  • Identify and implement solutions for variances from patient goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
