Job Summary:
This position involves working in a laundry facility to meet daily and weekly production goals. Employees are cross-trained to operate various machines and work in all departments.

Job Responsibilities:
- Sort incoming and outgoing linen under the direction of the floor lead.
- Transport, load, and unload carts and containers.
- Sort soiled linen on a conveyor into appropriate categories for washing.
- Use proper PPE and follow safety and infection control protocols.
- Operate commercial laundry machines (e.g., folders, feeders, irons, baggers, strapping machines).
- Assemble, count, bind, or package linen items on production lines.
- Perform quality checks and ensure consistent output to maintain product quality.
- Report machinery issues or hazards to the lead or maintenance.
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces.
- Identify and collaborate on process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure workplace safety and prevent hazards in the production line.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to see and read labels, monitors, and equipment.
- Frequent communication with co-workers and leaders.
- Manual dexterity for handling equipment and repetitive tasks.
- Standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.
- Full range of movement for transporting, pulling, and pushing equipment.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
