13 week assignment.
4 days per week (varying day off) - 8 hour shifts varying between 7-3:30, 7:30-4, 8-4:30, 8:30-5, call hours are required.
32 hours per week.
Position Overview: (Major Functions and Non-Essential Functions):
Provides service to adolescents and adults. Produces high quality images for Radiology and the assigned areas within the Operating room that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology. Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: (Has Achieved Competency in the Following Areas, Job Knowledge and Additional Considerations):
Experience within a sterile environment and aseptic technique preferred. Associates degree preferred.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: (Education Requirements and Experience):
Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification obtained before start date of employment.
Licensure/Certification Required:
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T.(R) (ARRT) ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months of start date Current Basic Life Support certification.
WI XRAY License required, ARRT VI Required, BLS Required
